The TianLong Norovirus (NoV) Genotype GI/GII Nucleic Acid Detection Kit is intended for the qualitative detection of Norovirus (NoV) Genotype GI/GII nucleic acid by Real-time reverse transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (Real-time RT-PCR) method.

Intended use:

The TianLong Norovirus (NoV) Genotype GI/GII Nucleic Acid Detection Kit is intended for the qualitative detection of Norovirus (NoV) Genotype GI/GII nucleic acid by Real-time reverse transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (Real-time RT-PCR) method.

The test is designed to detect RNA from Norovirus (NoV) Genotype GI/GII in specimens such as stool swabs collected from individual personnel based on clinical and/or epidemiological criteria. Results from the test are for the identification of Norovirus (NoV) Genotype GI/GII RNA existence in samples tested. Positive test results are indicative of the presence of Norovirus (NoV) Genotype GI/GII RNA; whereas clinical correlation  with patient history and other diagnostic information is necessary for the determination of patient infection status. Positive results from this test do not rule out bacterial infection or co-infection with other  viruses. Negative  test results from the test do not completely preclude Norovirus (NoV) Genotype GI/GII infection and should not be used as the sole basis for patient management decisions. Negative results must be used in combination with clinical observations, patient history, and epidemiological information for a medical decision.

FAQ
What is the difference between Gentier96 and Gentier48 ?
1.1 Sample throughout difference: Gentier96 can process maximum 96 samples per run, Gentier48 can process maximum 48 samples per run; 1.2 Fluorescence channel difference: Gentier96 E/R has 6/4 fluorescence channels separately, Gentier48 E/R has 4/2 fluorescence channels; 1.3 Light source location difference : The light source of Gentier96 is on the top, which requir...more
